Testing Times…
What do you do when you are stuck up in life?
& not a thing makes it worthwhile…
You have no clue where do you head…
Do you face it? Or run away instead?
A wild tempest haunting my mind,
Where is the path? Please help me find…
Trying everything, prayers & deeds,
How do I string these disheveled beads?
Looking around for a ray of hope,
Loosen the grip of this strangling rope!
Be firm & strong, says my heart,
But how do I tack, all that’s falling apart?
In despair, looking up at the almighty,
Praying to uphold my sanctity!
Slipping in a few moments of solitude,
I realize I need to be shrewd!
I’m not a coward, nor will I lose,
Will fight back, let the last drop ooze!
Oft, even if I stump,
Come what may, will not give up!
Law of nature - “survival of the fittest”,
But I believe, what matters is the zest!
Fortitude is man’s greatest virtue,
Just hold on, you will surely get through!

MANKIND.. lets help each other..
Mankind…
In years to come, when I look back,
I hope I’ve done some good...
Lightened the burden of a tired back,
To the starving, served some food!
When memories flash, I want to see;
A better person, evolved in me…
Could wipe some tears,
Help the tamed; face his fears!
By close, I will ensure my added share,
To the world of love, compassion & care!
Would sooth an injured soul,
Change a part, if not whole!
Yes life runs at a quick pace,
One thing or else we got to chase!
Yet in some way always,
In years to come, when I look back,
I hope I’ve done some good...

But I don’t miss you, coz I sense your presence everywhere…
I see your eyes in the early morning dew,
Twinkling with spark, saying nothing is blue!
I hear your laughter, in the bells jingling,
Its your melody… the birds go singing!
I feel your anger, in the scalding sun,
Your anguish lashes when the storms run!
You whisper to me through the rustling leaves,
I know you are around, no one believes!
In the cold ice, I sense your calm!
In the crackling fire, I feel your warmth!
You are the innocence in every child,
Your ambitions ride on the rising tide!
I see your hopes in a blooming flower,
The lightening strikes with your power!
I feel your touch when the wind caresses me,
You send me message through the buzzing bee!
You are not with me, I know its true….

& its not that I've realized it late...
Something’s just cannot be said,
In the eyes they are to be read!
I've always wanted to be just like you,
The way you look, the way you walk,
The way you play, the way you talk!
I know I could never go that far,
Of course! Not everybody can be a shining star!
Always fought over clothes & books,
Asking tons of questions on our looks,
Laughing for no reason at all,
Trying to spy on each others calls!
Every night I keep talking & u go off to sleep,
Always immersed in your thoughts so deep,
So simple & so pure,
For my every prob you've got a cure!
You've taught me things - to get up & fight,
On my mistakes slapped me tight,
& then when I cried all night,
Gave me a big hug & fixed it right!
A hard worker, a real cutie,
Always going about doing your duty,
I don’t say you are perfect di,

A little bird hatches from the egg,
totally oblivious to the world ahead!
Blinks her eyes, looks around,
Listening to the unknown sounds!
Then she see's a face so loving,
Calls her my baby, my darling!
She feels that touch & feels so blessed;
the experience is beyond words to express!
Then comes a face, a little stern,
but the eyes only shower love in turn!
She's taken in those strong arms,
& she knows she'll never face any harms!
She keeps growing under that strong roof,
well fed, well kept & well groomed!
Learning her lessons at her pace,
watching her folks lovely face!
There had been joy; there had been tears,
Lots of fun & some fears!
Time just flies with leaps & sprints,
leaving behind only foot prints!
And then comes a day she knows,
when she's got to fly alone.....
Though loving, but leaving the rest,
the bird flows away to make her nest!!!

But you've been there all along!
No matter what are the changing trends,
I hope we end up as Grand Friends!
There have been times when I’ve been lonely,
& the shelter I could seek for was you only!
You've been there through thick & thin,
Clinging on when there was nothing!
You came when there was no light,
Gave me a vision, a foresight!
If only u could see yourself as I do,
You'll see a lovely angel & that’s you!
Shared our laughter, shared our sorrow,
Got most of our things by beg & borrow!
Spent a lot when we had no money,
That’s how we got most of are honey's! ;)
